References can be organized and categorized using the Comments, Keywords, Category, and Picture options (a picture look-up field automatically provides a picture of the reference type). When you need an abbreviated periodical name for an AMA reference list a file of over 850 journal names automatically provides the proper abbreviation. Reference lists are automatically formatted and can be printed or exported to your word processor. References can be maintained for easy computer searching, like a library electronic catalog. You can "mark" a reference of interest while browsing and print select sets. All you need to do is enter the basic identifying information (title, author names, year, etc.) and decide how to categorize the reference.
